The verdict

These are not substitutes, and anyone telling you to pick one is selling something. Finviz is where you go to find a stock; StockPlus is where you go to be told what happened to the ones you already care about. The real question is whether you want to pay $299.50 a year for real-time alerts you can only receive at a desk.

Questions people ask

Does Finviz have a mobile app?

Not a first-party one as of August 2026. Searching the App Store for Finviz returns apps from unrelated developers rather than anything published by Finviz itself. The site is mobile-responsive, but there is no official app and therefore no push notifications.

How much does Finviz Elite cost?

As of 14 August 2026 its Elite page lists $39.50 a month, or $299.50 a year, which it states as $24.96 a month. StockPlus Pro is $2.99 a month. They buy very different things — Elite buys real-time data and screening, StockPlus buys monitoring and alerts.

Does StockPlus have a stock screener?

Not one comparable to Finviz. StockPlus is built around a watchlist you curate, a daily briefing, alerts, and congressional and insider filings. If systematic screening across the whole market is your workflow, keep Finviz.

Can I get Finviz alerts on my phone?

Only indirectly — there is no official Finviz app, so alerts do not arrive as push notifications from Finviz itself. This is the single clearest split between the two products: StockPlus exists to put a notification on your phone, on iOS and Android.
