Research and analytics terminal
StockPlus vs Koyfin
A web research terminal aimed at serious investors and financial advisors — charting, dashboards, financials, estimates and portfolio analytics in one workspace.
Choose StockPlus if
Price, and what happens when you are not at a desk. Koyfin Plus is $39/mo against StockPlus Pro at $2.99, and the things StockPlus leads with — congressional and insider filings, a two-minute morning briefing, push alerts — are not what a terminal is for.
Choose Koyfin if
Depth of research workspace. Ten years of financials and estimates, ETF holdings, custom formulas and financial templates, macro dashboards, and advisor tooling with client reporting and custodian integration. It is a genuine Bloomberg-alternative workflow for people who do this professionally, and StockPlus does not attempt any of it.

The verdict
Koyfin is the better tool and the wrong purchase for most people reading this. If you research holdings for a living, or for other people's money, $39 a month is cheap for what it replaces. If you hold a dozen stocks and want to know what happened to them, you would be paying thirteen times the price of StockPlus for a workspace you will open on a laptop, occasionally.

Questions people ask
How much does Koyfin cost?
As of 14 August 2026 its pricing page lists a free plan, Plus at $39/mo, Premium at $79/mo and Advisor Core at $209/mo, with an annual plan stated to save up to 30%. StockPlus Pro is $2.99/mo.
Is Koyfin's free plan enough?
For light use it is generous — two watchlists, two screens, two custom dashboards and two years of financials. The ceilings are on breadth of data and number of saved views rather than on time, so it stays usable indefinitely.
Does Koyfin track congressional or insider trades?
Neither is named on its pricing page as of August 2026. Koyfin is built around financials, estimates and charting. StockPlus carries both feeds in the free tier.
Which should I use?
Both, if you research seriously — they barely overlap. Koyfin is the desk where you do the work; StockPlus is the phone that tells you when there is work to do.
