Portfolio and dividend tracking app
StockPlus vs Stock Events
A mobile-first portfolio tracker built around the calendar — dividends, earnings dates and company events for the stocks you already hold.
Choose StockPlus if
Looking outside your own portfolio. Stock Events tells you what is scheduled for what you own; StockPlus adds what is happening in the market around it — congressional and insider filings, a daily AI briefing, and a Pulse Score per ticker.
Choose Stock Events if
Dividends, and it is not close. Dividend tracking, forecasting and a dividend calendar are the centre of the product rather than a feature bolted on, and the result is a genuinely popular app — over a million users and 4.8 stars on both stores as of August 2026. If you invest for income, they are built for you and StockPlus is not.

The verdict
Both are mobile-first and both are cheap, so this comes down to what you want to be told. Stock Events answers "what is coming up for what I own" — dividends, earnings, events. StockPlus answers "what changed and why" — a briefing, alerts, congressional and insider filings. Income investors should take Stock Events; StockPlus Pro is $2.99/mo against $49.99/yr if you want market monitoring instead.

Questions people ask
Does Stock Events track congressional trades?
Not as of August 2026 — congressional and insider filings are not listed anywhere on its pricing page. StockPlus carries both feeds, and they are in the free tier.
Which has the better free tier?
They cap different things. Stock Events gives you 15 stocks free, rising by 5 per referral, with an AI chat limited to 5 messages a day. StockPlus gives you a smaller watchlist but includes the congressional and insider feeds and a daily briefing. If you hold more than 15 positions and only want to track them, Stock Events free goes further.
Is Stock Events good for dividends?
Yes — it is one of the better dividend trackers available, and dividend forecasting, a dividend calendar and advanced dividend data are what its Pro tier is largely selling. StockPlus does not compete on this.
