Format and price. This is an email-and-reports service built for people who read research, at a reported US$17.79/month. StockPlus is $2.99/mo for a phone app with live prices, push alerts, congressional trades, insider filings and a morning briefing, and its congressional feed is free.

Canada. Canadian insider filings go to SEDI, not to SEC EDGAR, and almost nothing in this comparison set covers them. Insider Tracking does, alongside US filings, and pairs them with INK Research's weekly Canadian and US market reports. If you hold TSX names, StockPlus has nothing to show you and this is the tool.

The verdict

If you invest in Canadian equities, this is the specialist and price barely enters into it, because the alternative is reading SEDI yourself. If your holdings are US-listed, US$17.79/month for insider filings by email is a lot next to $2.99/mo for the same filings pushed to a phone alongside everything else you check.

Questions people ask

How much does Insider Tracking cost?

Its Advantage Ultra membership is reported at US$17.79 per month plus tax, effective 1 June 2025. We could not confirm this first-hand: insidertracking.com returned HTTP 403 with a JavaScript challenge to an automated fetch on 27 August 2026, so treat the figure as indicative and check the site yourself.

What is SEDI and why does it matter?

SEDI is Canada's System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders, the filing system Canadian insiders use. It is separate from SEC EDGAR, which is why US-built tools, StockPlus among them, show nothing for TSX-listed companies.

Does StockPlus cover Canadian insider filings?

No. StockPlus insider data is US SEC filings only. Insider Tracking and Insider Screener are the ones that reach Canada.
