The best portfolio tracker apps in 2026
·12 min read
Key takeaways
- Unusually for this category, all seven are real apps on both stores. There is no web-only section on this page because nothing failed that test, which is the opposite of the 13F and insider-tracking markets.
- The free holdings cap is the real limit, and it is small: Delta 10 assets, Sharesight 10 holdings including closed positions, Snowball Analytics 10 holdings in 1 portfolio, Stock Events 15 stocks plus 5 per referral. getquin and Blossom publish no cap at all.
- Best broker sync: Delta, with 200+ brokers, wallets and exchanges and unlimited connections even on the free tier. Widest bank coverage: getquin, with 2,000+ banks and brokers.
- Stock Events charges separately for the feature others include: automatic brokerage sync is a $0.99-per-week Connect add-on on top of Pro at $49.99 a year.
- Store price and site price disagree at two vendors. Delta advertises PRO at $53.88/yr and its App Store sells Delta PRO Yearly at both $58.99 and $99.90. getquin publishes 89,99 EUR a year excluding tax and charges $89.99 in the US App Store.
- Blossom publishes no price on its website at all: /pricing, /premium and /plus return HTTP 200 while serving a body that says 404, and the sitemap lists no pricing URL. Its figures come only from the App Store.
- Sharesight has a real app, but its own store copy describes mirroring portfolios you built on the web rather than building them, so treat it as a companion viewer.
- StockPlus (our app) is placed last of seven. Positions are typed in by hand with no brokerage connection and no CSV import, there is no realised profit and loss, no dividends and no crypto, and a free user gets 10 tickers shared between the portfolio and the watchlist.
Seven portfolio tracker apps, all of them installable on both stores, and the number that will decide your choice is not the price. It is the free holdings cap: 10 for Delta, 10 for Sharesight, 10 for Snowball, 15 for Stock Events. Delta is the strongest broker-syncing pick, getquin has the widest bank coverage, and Stock Events is the one built for dividends. Checked August 27, 2026.
The short answer
If you want your positions to appear without typing them, use Delta: it connects to more than 200 brokers, wallets and exchanges, the connections are unlimited even on the free plan, and crypto is treated as a real asset rather than an afterthought. If your accounts are European, getquin reaches more than 2,000 banks and brokers and publishes no holdings cap on its free tier. If you mostly want to know what is paying and when, Stock Events is built around dividends and earnings dates and gives you 15 free slots instead of 10.
If you want depth of analysis, Snowball Analytics benchmarks and rebalances and will hold non-traded assets like property and deposits. If you want records that will still make sense to an accountant in three years, Sharesight is the one, with the caveat that its phone app mirrors portfolios you build on the web rather than letting you build them.
The one thing that separates these, and it is not the price
Every list of portfolio trackers compares subscription costs. In practice almost nobody reaches the paywall by choosing to. They reach it because they added an eleventh holding.
- Delta: 10 assets.
- Sharesight: 10 holdings, and closed positions count, so your history eats the allowance.
- Snowball Analytics: 10 holdings in 1 portfolio, with 1 custom holding.
- Stock Events: 15 stocks, plus 5 more per referral, which is the most generous here.
- StockPlus, ours: 10 tickers, and they are shared with your watchlist, because a position is a watchlist row. That is stricter than it sounds and it is the honest number.
- getquin and Blossom: no cap published at all, which is not the same as unlimited. Neither prints a ceiling anywhere we could find.
How we ranked them
- It has to be an app. Every entry has an App Store and a Play listing we opened on the date shown. Unusually for this kind of list, nothing failed that test: portfolio tracking is the one part of this market where the leaders are already on both stores. There is no web-only section below because there is nothing honest to put in it.
- The free holdings cap, which is the real limit. Four of these publish a free ceiling and it is small: 10, 10, 10 and 15. That number is what you will hit in the first week, so it gets its own column instead of being a clause inside a feature list. Where a vendor claims a free tier and publishes no ceiling, the column says that rather than implying it is unlimited.
- Broker sync against manual entry. These are different products wearing the same name. A syncing tracker answers what you own automatically and needs your brokerage credentials; a manual one needs typing and needs nothing else. Both columns are filled for every entry, because plenty of people want the second and are sold the first.
- Whether the price is checkable, and consistent. Every figure carries the date we read it and a link to the page we read it from. The store-versus-site column exists because these regularly disagree: one vendor advertises an annual price its own App Store listing nearly doubles, and one publishes no price anywhere on its website.
- What we did not weigh. Returns, and anybody's holdings. This is a page about software. Nothing here is investment advice, and no entry is ranked on the performance of the portfolios it displays.
The seven compared
Figures checked August 27, 2026. Dimmed cells record a failure to check rather than a bad answer, and each entry below states exactly what happened when we tried, including the HTTP status where a vendor blocked us. Two did.
| App | Broker sync | Manual entry | Holdings on the free tier | Price | Platforms | Crypto and other assets | Store price vs site price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Delta | Yes, 200+ exchanges, brokers and crypto wallets, and connections are unlimited even on free | Yes, manual transactions and CSV import | 10 assets | PRO $53.88/yr, PRO+ $107.88/yr, with location-dependent pricing | iOS and Android | Yes, crypto is core to the product | They disagree. The site says PRO $53.88/yr; the App Store sells Delta PRO Yearly at both $58.99 and $99.90 |
| 2. getquin | Yes, API connections to 2,000+ banks and brokers, unlimited on free | Yes, manual import and file import | No cap published | Free 0 €/yr, Premium 89,99 €/yr, Wealth 149,99 €/yr, all excluding tax | iOS and Android | Yes, net worth across asset types | Different currencies rather than different numbers: 89,99 € a year on the site, $89.99 a year plus a $9.99 monthly option in the US App Store |
| 3. Stock Events | Yes, but as a paid add-on: Connect at $0.99 per week on top of Pro | Yes, and manual portfolio updates are in the free tier | 15 stocks, plus 5 more per referral | Free $0.00, Pro $49.99/yr | iOS and Android | Crypto exchanges and wallets via the Connect add-on | Consistent, and the store fills a gap: the site publishes only the $49.99 annual, the App Store adds Stock Events PRO monthly at $7.99 |
| 4. Snowball Analytics | Yes on paid, 1,000+ brokers. Free gets broker report imports rather than a live link | Yes, custom holdings: 1 on free, 5 on Starter, unlimited above, including non-traded assets | 10 holdings in 1 portfolio | Free 0 forever, Starter $79.99/yr, Investor $149.99/yr, Expert $249.99/yr, all USD | iOS and Android | Yes, loans, deposits and real estate as custom holdings | Complementary: the site publishes annual only, the App Store adds monthly at $7.99, $14.99 and $24.99 |
| 5. Sharesight | Yes, trade confirmation email imports | Yes, but on the web app. The phone app mirrors rather than edits | 10 holdings including closed positions, in 1 portfolio | Free, Starter $7/mo billed annually or $9.33 monthly, Standard $18 or $24, Premium $23.25 or $31, all USD | iOS and Android, as companions to the web app | Listed securities and cash accounts rather than crypto wallets | The same, because there is nothing to compare: neither listing carries an in-app purchase line, so subscriptions are sold only on the web |
| 6. Blossom | Yes, including Robinhood, Fidelity, Vanguard, Schwab, Webull, Wealthsimple and Questrade | Yes, including cash, gold and silver added by hand | No cap published | No price published on the vendor site. App Store lists Blossom PRO $8.99/mo or $59.99/yr and Pro Plus $19.99/mo or $119.99/yr | iOS and Android | Yes, cash, gold and silver | Cannot be compared. The site publishes no price at all |
| 7. StockPlusOurs | No. Every position is typed in by hand | Yes, and it is the only way in. No CSV import either | 10 tickers, shared with your watchlist, because a position is a watchlist row | Free; Pro $2.99/mo. Sector allocation is the Pro part | iOS and Android | No. Equities and ETFs only | The same. $2.99/mo on both stores and on our site |
The seven, in detail
1. Broker-syncing portfolio app
Delta
A mobile portfolio tracker, owned by eToro, that syncs stocks and crypto from 200+ brokers, wallets and exchanges into one balance.
- Best at
- Answering “what is my net worth right now” across accounts that have nothing to do with each other. Unlimited broker, wallet and exchange connections on the free tier is unusually generous, and nothing else here treats crypto as a first-class citizen rather than an afterthought.
- Bad at
- The free holdings cap, which is 10 assets and arrives fast if you hold a normal number of positions. Its pricing is also the least legible in this group: the site advertises one annual figure and the App Store sells six different subscriptions, two of which are nearly double it.
- Price
- PRO $53.88/yr, PRO+ $107.88/yr, with location-dependent pricing
Verified August 27, 2026
Read from delta.app/en/pro on 27 August 2026, which required driving a real browser: delta.app returns HTTP 403 to every automated client on every path. Note also that /pricing and /en/pricing are HTTP 404, so the pricing page is /en/pro and links calling it anything else are stale. The page reads “Delta Basic stays Free Forever”, “Track up to 10 assets in your portfolio”, “Unlimited broker, wallet, and exchange connections” and “3 Delta AI uses per month”, with PRO at “$53.88/year*”, PRO+ at “$107.88/year*” and the footnote “* Prices may vary depending on your location.” The App Store listing (id1288676542, seller Opus Labs CVBA) lists six in-app purchases: Delta PRO Monthly at $10.49 and $13.99, Delta PRO Yearly at $58.99 and $99.90, and Delta PRO+ at $13.99 monthly and $107.99 yearly. Both store listings resolved. The Play package io.getdelta.android does not appear in a US Play search for “Delta” and had to be reached directly, which is worth knowing if you go looking for it.
2. Broker-syncing portfolio app
getquin
A European portfolio tracker that imports from more than 2,000 banks and brokers and puts net worth, analysis and a social feed in one app.
- Best at
- Breadth of connections and a free tier with no published holdings cap. If your accounts are European, this is the one on this list most likely to actually recognise your bank, and the free plan still gives you unlimited connections and real-time data.
- Bad at
- Being priced in a currency you may not use, and being quiet about limits. Prices are published in euros excluding tax, the US App Store charges dollars, and the free tier lists features rather than ceilings, so you cannot tell from outside where it stops.
- Price
- Free 0 €/yr, Premium 89,99 €/yr, Wealth 149,99 €/yr, all excluding tax
Verified August 27, 2026
Read from www.getquin.com/pricing/ on 27 August 2026 (HTTP 200). Two navigation traps worth recording: the domain is getquin.com and not getquin.io, and /en/pricing, /en/premium and /en/ all return HTTP 404, so the live page carries no locale segment. Tiers are Free “0 € /year”, Premium “89,99 € /year” and Wealth “149,99 € /year”, with the footnote “All prices shown are exclusive of country-specific taxes and fees.” The free column reads “Unlimited bank and broker connections”, “Real-time financial data”, “Comprehensive net worth overview” and “Essential portfolio analysis”, with no holdings number anywhere, which is why that cell says no cap published rather than unlimited. Both store listings resolved, seller QUIN Technologies GmbH on both.
3. Dividend and events portfolio app
Stock Events
A portfolio tracker built around what is about to happen to your holdings: dividends, earnings dates and splits, with brokerage sync sold as a separate add-on.
- Best at
- Dividends and calendars. If the reason you open a portfolio app is to see what is paying and when, this is the one built for that question, and its free tier is the most generous holdings cap in the group at 15, extendable by referral.
- Bad at
- Charging separately for the thing three competitors include. Automatic brokerage sync is a $0.99-per-week add-on called Connect on top of Pro, which is an odd shape and easy to miss when you compare the headline $49.99 a year against Delta or getquin.
- Price
- Free $0.00, Pro $49.99/yr
Verified August 27, 2026
Read from stockevents.app/en/pricing on 27 August 2026 (HTTP 200). The page is brotli-compressed and a plain fetch without --compressed returns binary, which is worth knowing before concluding the page is broken. Tiers: Free “$0.00 / Always free”, Pro “$49.99 / per year” with “Save 48% on a yearly subscription”, and the add-on Connect at “$0.99 / per week” described as “Auto sync with brokerages, crypto exchanges and wallets. Unlimited connections”. The free column reads “Track up to 15 stocks”, “5 AI messages every 24 hours”, “Earn +5 extra spots per referral”, “Watchlist, portfolio, dividend, and event tracking” and “Manual portfolio updates and community access”. Both store listings resolved, seller Stock Events GmbH.
4. Analytics-first portfolio tracker
Snowball Analytics
A portfolio tracker aimed at people who want to measure the portfolio rather than watch it: benchmarking, rebalancing tools and custom non-traded holdings.
- Best at
- Analysis you cannot get from a balance. Benchmarking against an index, a rebalancing tool, and custom holdings that cover loans, deposits and real estate rather than only listed securities.
- Bad at
- A free tier that is a demo. One portfolio, 10 holdings, one custom holding, one watchlist, and broker linking is not in it at all: free users get report imports instead. The real product starts at $79.99 a year.
- Price
- Free 0 forever, Starter $79.99/yr, Investor $149.99/yr, Expert $249.99/yr, all USD
Verified August 27, 2026
Read from snowball-analytics.com/pricing on 27 August 2026 (HTTP 200). One trap: the monthly figures are injected by JavaScript, so a static fetch renders “0 / month” on every tier and would suggest the whole product is free. The annual figures are in the delivered HTML: Free “0 forever”, Starter “79.99 / year”, Investor “149.99 / year” marked POPULAR CHOICE, Expert “249.99 / year”, with “* All prices are in USD” and “16% OFF which is 2 months for free”. Paid tiers all show “14-days free trial, no CC”. The monthly numbers quoted above come from the App Store in-app purchase list, cross-checked rather than scraped. The free column reads “1 Portfolio”, “10 Holdings”, “1 Custom holding”, “1 Watchlist”, “Import brokers' reports”, “Limited Benchmarking” and “Limited Rebalance Tool”. Both store listings resolved.
5. Web portfolio tracker with a companion app
Sharesight
A long-running portfolio and tax-reporting service for investors who care about performance and dividend records, with a phone app that mirrors what you build on the web.
- Best at
- Record-keeping and reporting over years rather than days. Trade confirmation imports, dividend history and performance reporting are what it is actually for, and they are stronger here than in any app-first product on this list.
- Bad at
- Being a phone app, which it is not really. The store listing describes mirroring portfolios you already built, not building them, so the app is a viewer. The free plan is 1 portfolio and 10 holdings including closed positions, which counts your history against you.
- Price
- Free, Starter $7/mo billed annually or $9.33 monthly, Standard $18 or $24, Premium $23.25 or $31, all USD
Verified August 27, 2026
Read from sharesight.com/pricing/ on 27 August 2026 (HTTP 200): Free with no price shown, Starter “$7 USD per month billed annually” or “$9.33 USD billed monthly”, Standard “$18 USD” or “$24 USD”, Premium “$23.25 USD” or “$31 USD”, with “*Prices in USD. Taxes may apply.” The free limits are printed as “1 Portfolio”, “10 Holdings (incl. closed)” and “1 Custom group”, and the FAQ states “The Free plan limits you to 10 holdings.” The same FAQ answers the app question directly: “Is the mobile app available for a free plan customer? Yes, anyone can download the mobile app.” Both listings resolved, seller Sharesight Limited on iOS and Sharesight Mobile on Play, neither showing an in-app purchase section. Search caveat: a Play search for “Sharesight” does not return its own app on the first page, so its absence from a search result is not evidence it has no app.
6. Social portfolio app
Blossom
A social investing app where you connect a brokerage and your portfolio becomes something other people can follow, discuss and copy ideas from.
- Best at
- The part no spreadsheet does. Seeing what other real portfolios hold, with brokerage connections to major US and Canadian brokers, and the ability to track cash, gold and silver alongside listed holdings.
- Bad at
- Publishing a price. There is no pricing page on its website at all, so the only figures we could put in the table came from the App Store. A product that will not name its price on its own site is a product you should price-check inside the app before subscribing.
- Price
- No price published on the vendor site. App Store lists Blossom PRO $8.99/mo or $59.99/yr and Pro Plus $19.99/mo or $119.99/yr
Not fully verified August 27, 2026
The stores are verified; the vendor's own pricing is not, and the two should not be conflated. Both listings resolved on 27 August 2026, seller Blossom Social Inc. on both. The pricing failure is specific: blossomsocial.ca 301s to blossomsocial.com, and /pricing, /premium and /plus all return HTTP 200 while serving the single-page-app catch-all whose body reads “404 not found”, so they look alive and are not. pages-sitemap.xml contains no pricing URL and /faq renders empty. The dollar figures in the table therefore come only from the App Store in-app purchase list and describe what Apple will charge, not what the vendor advertises. On the common “is this Canada only” question: the company is Canadian, at 1 University Avenue, Toronto, but the app is listed on the US App Store and US Play store and most of its named brokers are American.
7. Market-monitoring app with a manual portfolio
Our appStockPlus
Our app: a watchlist and a daily market briefing, with a hand-entered portfolio attached to it rather than a brokerage connection.
- Best at
- Being the market app that also holds your positions, if your positions are few and you would rather not connect a brokerage to anything. Entering a position and seeing live per-holding and total unrealised profit and loss is on the free plan, and the whole thing costs $2.99 a month at most.
- Bad at
- Being a portfolio tracker, judged against the six above. There is no brokerage connection of any kind, no CSV import, no realised profit and loss, no dividend tracking, no multi-currency handling and no crypto. A free user is capped at 10 tickers, and a position is a watchlist row, so your holdings and your watchlist share that allowance. If you want a portfolio tracker rather than a market app, every entry above serves you better.
- Price
- Free; Pro $2.99/mo. Sector allocation is the Pro part
Verified August 27, 2026
This is our own product, so treat the row as a description rather than an independent check, and these are the details we would rather you knew before installing than after. Cost basis and unrealised profit and loss, per holding and in total, are free and recompute live off the price feed. Sector allocation is the Pro feature, which the App Store release notes for the current version state in as many words. There is no realised profit and loss, because there is no transaction or lot history: each ticker stores one average price and a share count, so a sale is an edit rather than a record. There are no dividends and no currency conversion. The 10-ticker free limit is the watchlist limit, which positions count against. Extra watchlists are Pro; there is no separate portfolio entity and no second portfolio.
Three things nobody comparing these mentions
Every one of them already has an app
This sounds like a non-finding until you compare it with the rest of this market. Ask the same question about 13F trackers and six of the nine leaders turn out to be websites; ask it about insider-trading tools and the four strongest have no app either. Portfolio tracking is the one corner where the good products are already on your phone. So there is no web-only section on this page, and the question is not which of these you can install. It is which one will let you type a position in without handing over brokerage credentials.
The store price and the vendor price can differ by a lot
Delta advertises PRO at $53.88 a year on its own site. Its App Store listing sells Delta PRO Yearly at $58.99 and also at $99.90, nearly double the advertised figure. getquin publishes 89,99 € a year excluding tax and charges $89.99 in the US App Store, which is a currency difference rather than a markup but will still not be the number you expected. Snowball and Sharesight sell on the web and carry no in-app purchase line at all, so with those two the price you read is the price you pay. Checking both before you subscribe takes a minute.
A missing pricing page is a finding, not a gap
Blossom publishes no price anywhere on its website. Not a hidden one, not a contact-us one: /pricing, /premium and /plus all return a page that looks alive and whose body says it is a 404, and the sitemap lists no pricing URL. The only figures we could put in the table came from Apple. That is worth knowing before you install something described as free to use.
How to choose in one minute
- You want it to fill itself in: Delta, or getquin if your accounts are European.
- You want to know what is paying and when: Stock Events, and budget for the Connect add-on if you also want automatic sync.
- You want to measure the portfolio, not watch it: Snowball Analytics.
- You want records for tax time: Sharesight, accepting that the app is a viewer.
- You want to see other people’s portfolios: Blossom, and check the price inside the app.
- You hold a handful of positions and will not connect a brokerage to anything: StockPlus, ours, at $2.99 a month, with the 10-ticker limit above in mind.
For the fuller feature tables, see StockPlus vs Delta, StockPlus vs Stock Events and getquin alternatives, each of which states where they beat us.
Where to read next
- The best stock alert apps applies the same test to being told when something moves, where only two of six vendors will state a percent-change trigger in writing.
- The best 13F and hedge fund tracker apps is the same question asked about institutional filings, with a very different answer: six of the nine leaders have no app at all.
- The best congress stock tracker apps covers politician disclosures, where the top three Google results are store listings rather than websites.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best portfolio tracker app?
For automatic tracking, Delta: it connects to more than 200 brokers, wallets and exchanges, keeps those connections unlimited even on the free plan, and handles crypto alongside equities. For European accounts, getquin reaches more than 2,000 banks and brokers. For dividends and earnings dates, Stock Events is built around the calendar and gives 15 free holdings instead of 10. For analysis such as benchmarking and rebalancing, Snowball Analytics. For long-term records and tax reporting, Sharesight, though its phone app mirrors portfolios rather than creating them.
What is the best free portfolio tracker app?
Stock Events has the most generous published free tier at 15 stocks, extendable by 5 per referral, and manual portfolio updates are included free. Delta is free forever for up to 10 assets with unlimited broker connections. getquin's free plan publishes no holdings cap and still includes unlimited bank and broker connections and real-time data. Be aware that free tiers in this category are almost always a holdings cap rather than a feature restriction, so check the number before you commit to an app.
Is there a portfolio tracker app that does not connect to my brokerage?
Yes, and it is worth asking for explicitly, because most of these are built the other way round. Every app in this comparison supports manual entry, but StockPlus (our app) is the only one where manual entry is the only route in, with no brokerage connection of any kind and no CSV import. Snowball Analytics supports custom holdings including non-traded assets like property and deposits. Stock Events includes manual portfolio updates in its free tier and sells automatic sync as a separate add-on.
How many holdings do free portfolio trackers allow?
Verified on 27 August 2026 from each vendor's own page: Delta 10 assets, Sharesight 10 holdings including closed positions in 1 portfolio, Snowball Analytics 10 holdings in 1 portfolio plus 1 custom holding, Stock Events 15 stocks plus 5 more per referral, and StockPlus 10 tickers shared with the watchlist. getquin and Blossom publish no ceiling at all on their free tiers, which is not the same as unlimited.
Do portfolio tracker apps cost less on the website than in the app?
At two of the seven, yes. Delta advertises PRO at $53.88 a year on delta.app and its App Store listing sells Delta PRO Yearly at $58.99 and also at $99.90. getquin publishes 89,99 EUR a year excluding tax while the US App Store charges $89.99 plus a $9.99 monthly option. Sharesight and Snowball Analytics carry no in-app purchase line at all and bill on the web, so with those the price you read is the price you pay.
Do these apps track crypto as well as stocks?
Delta does, and it is core to the product rather than an add-on. Stock Events reaches crypto exchanges and wallets through its paid Connect add-on. getquin and Blossom cover broader net worth, with Blossom adding cash, gold and silver. Snowball Analytics supports custom holdings such as loans, deposits and real estate. StockPlus (our app) does not: it is equities and ETFs only.
